Jones holds a California Professional Clear Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and master’s degree in teacher education (UCLA) along with a doctorate in educational administration. She has taught elementary school in both private and public school settings and has had experience with full inclusion programs for students with severe disabilities. She has administered teaching credential programs in Southern California for the past 10 years.
She has authored evaluation studies on the academic efficacy after school programs, and her research interests include language acquisition for children with autism and performance assessment for pre-service teachers. Her doctoral dissertation research, testing accommodations for students with disabilities, was presented at the American Educational Research Association. Jones works with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in several capacities and is currently serving as a member of CTC Committee on Accreditation.
