Background:
Ward is available to discuss same-sex marriage debates, lesbian and gay parenting, gender-nonconforming children, whether sexual orientation is hardwired or chosen, and "heteroflexibility" (e.g. "straight girls kissing girls"). She is currently working on a study of the homoerotic and homosexual activity of straight men, provisionally titled "Not Gay: Straight White Men, Homosexual Sex, and the Making of Heterosexuality" (forthcoming with NYU Press).

Ward is the author of "Respectably Queer: Diversity Culture in LGBT Activist Organizations" (Vanderbilt University Press, 2008).
