Biography

Natsuaki studies how puberty and family relationships affect children’s emotional and behavioral health. Natsuaki received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Davis, and completed the postdoctoral training at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.

On Adolescent Development

Natsuaki studies how emotional (e.g., depression) and behavioral (e.g., conduct problems) problems emerge and change during the transition from childhood to adolescence.

On Psychopathology

Natsuaki studies how emotional (e.g., depression) and behavioral (e.g., conduct problems) problems emerge and change during the transition from childhood to adolescence.

On Parenting

Natsuaki examines the intricate relationships children develop with their parents and siblings. In particular, she focuses on parental depression, parenting, and child development.
